Birthday

So I had much birthday fun last weekend. Got some wicked presents, not least a nice amount of cash that should keep me going for a while. I need to exert some control over myself, I'm a spending whore. Thing is, it's not my money, it's the bank's! Ah well, it's all in the name of alcohol and fashion I suppose.

Went for a meal at the lovely La Tasca, with TheDrew and TheChud.

Had to drag a kicking and screaming Chud to a gay bar, but she was wasted by the end of the night so it really made no difference to her. I also found a top-of-the-range Olympus digital camera. OK, when I say found, I mean it was on the floor in the club. Yes yes, I've already had the whole "You really should've handed it in" talk. I was drunk though, and thought it was a nice present to myself. I do feel rather awful now. Especially because I don't have an Olympus battery charger!

I'm a twink...apparently

Taken from nottellalie.co.uk. A bit surprised I'm a twink, but out of them all I think that's nearest to me. Perhaps i'm more Drama Queen....

You scored as Twink. You are a twink. Just like the snack cake, your sweet and creamy, but not really very filling, and sometimes leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Do us all a favor and eat something!

I don't know whether i'm coming or going. The last few weeks have thrown my life into perspective, and a trillion questions float around in my head. Student life ended a lot quicker than i'd anticipated, and now I don't know where I'm heading. And whilst that is slightly scary, it's also very exciting.

I'd rather not know what each week holds, than know I'm going to be doing the same old routine thing day in/day out. I don't know if this is a general student thing, or if it's just true for those who take the 'arty' path.... I've always known academic students to land jobs almost immediately after uni. Whereas, the artistic students seem to drift for a while.

I don't want to seem like I'm complaining. Far from it, I'm enjoying things right now. I've had a few auditions for Emmerdale, and this week I've got an audition for Hollyoaks. So there's potential work always lined up. But auditions aren't money. On the side, i'm finally starting to build on what I've wanted to do for a while and get into web design. The university are paying me a nice sum to create a site for the Performing Arts Department.

Anyway, it's 12.50am, and I need to get to bed. I'm going to Alton Towers tomorrow! Woo!
